Rooms for Hire

Availability

The centre is not staffed but can be booked from 8am-11pm, six days a week (depending on availability, closed on Sundays). It can be used for fitness and education classes, clubs, groups, social activities, events, conferences, meetings, functions, wakes, weddings, and celebrations.

Facilities

  • Five sections/rooms available for hire, suitable for a variety of purposes.
  • Outside enclosed courtyard, available for groups hiring ground-floor rooms.
  • Well-equipped and flexible rooms with chairs, tables, full catering and kitchen facilities available for use by groups hiring rooms.
  • Car parking available with space for around twenty cars.

Accessibility

  • All ground-floor facilities and rooms in the building are accessible by wheel-chair. More details are available in each room description.
  • Disabled parking at front of complex.
  • Disabled toilet and nappy-changing facilities.

Rooms

The Oast has five rooms/sections available for hire, for use by groups and individuals for clubs, parties and other events.

Wakeley Hall

In many ways the flag-ship hall of the centre, with a terrific aspect, the ground-floor Wakeley Hall has enough space for up to one hundred seated guests. It has its own bar and its own entrance for private functions and easy wheelchair-access. Ideal for weddings, engagements, meetings and general celebrations that require a larger space. Dimensions: 14m x 5.5m.

Oast Tea Rooms

A cosy room which boasts kitchen facilities and enough space for a maximum of twenty-five guests.
Ideal for morning coffee groups, baby showers, leading itself to afternoon tea-parties. Situated on the ground floor of The Oast, the room has wheel-chair access and access to a disabled toilet. The area also overlooks a enclosed courtyard. Dimensions: 6m x 4.5m.

Willow Room

The Willow Room has a special sort of character and with room for up to sixty people offers a different sort of space, great for meetings, small parties and other events. The room has the benefit of access through the tea rooms if required and side access from the driveway. Ideal for Christenings, Wakes and general functions with the option of catering facilities through the tea rooms. This room also leads itself to use as a meeting board-room or small conference room. Dimensions: 12m x 4m.

Granary Bar and snug

Our first-floor general bar facility has ample room for up to eighty seated. Ideal for all celebrations and events with room for live music for a more intimate event. This room also has a snug available for a buffet area. Access to toilets are available on this floor. Dimensions: 4m x 12.5m opening out to 6.5m x 3.5m.

Oast Hall

The grand Oast Hall is the largest hall at The Oast with a capacity of 175 guests seated. A fabulous space for large events such as weddings, larger gigs, conferences and parties. Ideal for recreational use such as dancing, yoga and indoor sport. The hall has its own bar facilities and kitchen. Dimensions: 17m x 6m.
